Blitz Cafe

We noticed a rather new place near Valluvar Kottam which had the three names and all names sounded like restaurants. We ventured inside and was told that one is a multicuisine restaurant, another is a coffee shop and the third yet to opened will be a barbecue joint.

We stepped into the coffee shop on the first floor called Blitz Cafe to some very funky interiors. Then my friend said that there are two other Blitz cafes and he heard that they were good. So we just decided to try the place.

We ordered just two from the menu, one honey mustn't grilled chicken sandwich and one Blitz chocolate dessert. The sandwich priced at Rs. 140 was small for its price, but very tasty. It was served with fries and a coleslaw and was a nice deal. The chocolate cake with ice cream was tasty, but nothing out standing.

The service was quick, but quality wise they are still finding their foot I suppose. The restaurant below seems to have been built for the hookah crowd, but after the ban, I wonder what they are going to do. The BBQ joint is yet to open. I would probably go back later and check out other stuff on the menu.

Blitz cafe is near Valluvar Kottam, when coming from Kodambakkam, take the left just before Valluvar Kottam and our will see it straight ahead.
