Just off R K Salai, is a new upmarket restaurant!!!! Having heard the name and the location, we decided straightaway to head there on a Saturday night for a quiet meal. The setting as you enter is beautiful, with barstools and a counter right in front and tables neatly laid out with a great dose of privacy!!! There are almost no tables adjacent to each other, only one behind the other. I was completely impressed with the setting!!
Dreberry's is located off R K Salai, on the road just next to the Van Heusen showroom opp Citi Center (or is it Louis Phillip showroom?)
The menu is typically continental with lots of grill, pizza and burger options and the usual appetizers and desserts. The menu layout is unique with it being easy to get to the section you specifically want. We ordered one starter - chicken cubes, one grilled chicken burger, one chicken stuffed breast grill and two iced lemon teas. The iced teas were served on super large glasses and did not have sugar syrup in them and was also not Nestea being served either. It was well brewed, like the ones you get in Sparky's, but a little more dilute for my liking, but it is not the one that will suit all tastes, my friends did not like it at all, but I thought it was just good iced tea!!!! The starters and the main courses were alright, nothing great to mention off- the burger was large, but the patty was over fried, while the chicken grill was decent.
We decided against desserts here and headed out. The pricing was a surprise, the grills are priced between Rs 200 and Rs 250, the burgers between Rs 150 and Rs 200 or so and I think it was very reasonable considering the location and the ambiance. Service was quick and attentive, but will have to be judged on a busier day. I will want to go back and try the other grills there and I love the ambiance and food is definitely not bad!
Food 6/10
Service 7/10
